Einbürgerungstest — Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Umar Sesay (Belgium) (“we”) for the Einbürgerungstest Deutschland app. By using the app you agree to them.

1. The service

The app helps you prepare for the German “Leben in Deutschland” citizenship test. It contains the official question catalogue, exam simulations and learning tools. It is an independent study aid and is not affiliated with the Bundesamt für Migration und Flüchtlinge (BAMF) or any government authority.

2. No guarantee of results

We work hard to keep questions and answers accurate and up to date with the official catalogue, but we can’t guarantee that you will pass the test. Pass predictions are estimates based on your practice in the app. Always check official sources for exam dates and requirements.

3. Free version and Pro

  • The free version is supported by ads.
  • Pro is a one-time purchase (not a subscription) that removes ads and unlocks translations, unlimited exams and detailed statistics.
  • Purchases are processed by Apple or Google. Refunds are handled under their policies, and your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
  • You can restore Pro on a new device using the same store account.

If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement also applies.

4. Acceptable use

Don’t copy, resell or redistribute the app’s content or translations, and don’t attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the app.

5. Availability and changes

We may update, change or stop features. Learning data is stored on your device, so it may be lost if you uninstall the app or change devices.

6. Liability

The app is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
