Goka AI — Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Umar Sesay (Belgium) (“Goka”, “we”) for the Goka AI app. By using Goka you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

1. The service

Goka turns your photos and prompts into AI-generated videos and images. Results are created by AI models and can be unexpected, imperfect or not look exactly like the people or things in your photos. Features, effects and templates may change over time.

2. Accounts and guests

You can use Goka as a guest or with a free account. A guest session lives on one device: if you delete the app or change devices, a guest’s creations and credits can’t be recovered. Purchases require an account so they can always be restored. Keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.

3. Credits

• Creating uses credits. The price of each creation is shown before you start.
• Free credits (for new guests, new accounts and referrals) are promotional and may change.
• If a creation fails, its credits are returned automatically.
• Credits have no cash value, can’t be transferred or exchanged for money, and are only usable in Goka.
• To keep the service fair, there are limits on how many creations can run at the same time and per day.

4. Subscriptions and purchases

• Goka Pro subscriptions (weekly or yearly) are billed by Apple or Google to the account you purchase with, and renew automatically until you cancel.
• Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid being charged for the next one. Manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling keeps Pro until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
• Each subscription period gives a set number of credits (shown on the paywall). Unused subscription credits do not carry over to the next period.
• Credit packs are one-off purchases. Pack credits don’t expire.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
• Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may change for future periods.

If you downloaded Goka from the App Store, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement also applies.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos you upload and, as far as the law allows, of the videos and images Goka creates for you. You give us the limited permission we need to store and process your content to provide the service (including sending it to the AI providers listed in our Privacy Policy). We don’t use your photos or creations for advertising and don’t publish them.

6. Acceptable use

You must have the right to use every photo you upload. You may not use Goka to:

• upload photos of other people without their permission;
• create sexual content, or any content involving minors in a sexualised way;
• create content meant to deceive, defame, harass or impersonate real people (for example fake videos presented as real);
• create violent, hateful or illegal content, or infringe others’ rights;
• attack, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or farm free credits.

Our AI providers use safety filters that may block some requests. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

7. Availability

We work to keep Goka running, but it may sometimes be unavailable or slow, and creations can fail. We may change or stop features. If we close the service, we will give reasonable notice where possible.

8. Disclaimers and liability

Goka is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer.

9. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Goka and delete your account at any time (Settings › Profile › Delete My Account). We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and can bring claims in your local courts.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We’ll change the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app. Continuing to use Goka after a change means you accept it.
